Annotation
Practically focused course in which students learn how or improve their ability to correctly and effectively formulate common written documents such as their own notes, research, reports, protocols, articles, etc. Students will be acquainted with the main principles of writing professional texts.
Study targets
The aim of the course is to develop the skills of structured thinking and logical formulation and argumentation, as well as to learn the ability to express your opinions and conclusions concisely and clearly. Students will acquire basic competencies that can be used later in writing a bachelor's thesis.

1. Course introduction, work on the moodle platform, structure of a professional text, practical training
2. Visit to the CTU library - excursion
3. Principles of research writing, Introduction to the article, practical training
4. Database
5. Citation
6. Citation - preparatory exercises, practical training: self-correction exercises
7. Search according to the assignment
8. Professional style, practical training: stylistics + language accuracy
9. Evaluation of the first output (research and its evaluation), report on an experiment (its description and evaluation result), preparatory exercises
10. Report on experiment according to the assignment
11. Mutual evaluation of experiment reports, discussion, conclusion, practical training
12. Article
13. Abstract, qualification work - pitfalls, tips, concrete examples, practical training
14. Final evaluation of results, credits, self-correction exercises
