This course explains the topics of optoelectronic image sensors, especially CCD and CMOS
sensors, optical system, illuminators and their application in the computer vision.
Course outlines
1. Optical projection system, Optical transfer function, vignetting, lens aberration
2. Raster image scanning, photodiode sensors
3. Optoelectronic sensors CCD (line and area) for an image acquisition
4. CMOS image sensors, principle of an image acquisition
5. Real sensor parameters, MTF, noise
6. Cameras and optics for infra red sensing
7. Videosignal, signal digitalisation
8. Function blocks in digital photo camera and their function
9. Digital cameras and their interfaces
10. Cameras for special purposes (use in astronomy, military, medicine)
