Annotation
The purpose of the course is to give the students basic knowledge of electrical equipment and installation as to avoid danger arising from operation of it, safety work with electrical equipment, basics of the first aid at injury by electric current. Students receive qualification that enables them to work on electrical equipment which is necessary for their work in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University (Dean's order No. 1/2007).
Course outlines
1.Repeated Health and Occupation Safety training is performed according to "Basic Training Guidelines for Health and Occupational Safety for employees and students FEE, CTU in Prague.
2.Qualification of persons, risks and sources of injuries, safety symbols and identification. Guidelines of the safety behavior and work with electrical equipment, first aid at injury by electric current. Electromagnetic compatibility.
3.Safety of electrical equipment. Safety of the work with sources of high voltage. First aid at injury by electric current.
Exercises outlines
1.Qualification of persons, risks and sources of injuries, safety symbols and identification.
2.Safety in laboratories of the FEE, CTU in Prague, practical instruction. First aid.
3.Written test, assessment.
