This tutorial serves as an introduction to the current third generation and evolving fourth generation mobile wireless systems. The 3rd Generation Partnership Project is currently developing the next generation of the Long Term Evolution standard referred to as the LTE-Advanced.

ID 143. The goal of this module is to introduce the principles of combinational logics. Minimization of Karnaugh maps and rules of Boolean algebra are presented. Last but not least, selected aspects of more advanced logic circuits and their design are discussed.

ID 151. The goal of this module is to present particular design steps of achieving a sequential logical circuit by using a TTL series. The idea how to assign the pins of selected flip-flops to solve practical tasks is presented.

ID 144. The goal of this module is to introduce the principles of sequential logics. Selected aspects of more advanced logic circuits, such as Mealy or Moore machine, particular design steps, minimization algorithms are discussed in details.
