Dear students,
this week we have been making (just a very gentle) step into the domain of numerical optimal control. For this we have been using a popular toolbox called CasADi. Although I have gone through several codes with you (including the finally unassigned homework), it may have been difficult for you to follow it. I concur. But I have just found a very short (5-minute read) tutorial on using CasADi for numerical optimal control on their website, that is pretty much in the style of the examples that I showed you (or the other way around – our homework in the spirit of this tutorial :-) Check it out if you think the presented exercises and homework code has not yet been cleared up sufficiently. You will be regarded as gurus if you can use these powerfull tools :-)
