Semestral project

Hello, I have a few questions regarding semestral projects. I'm sorry if those have been answered in the lecture already, but I've been unable to be there due to covid restrictions so have possibly missed out on those.

1. Is there some formal way/system to create teams? I don't know people from the current course so maybe there's a "centralized" way to express a desire to pursue the semestral project assignment and preferences for the topics?

2. In case (1.) fails and there are no students who'd like to work on the same topic, is it possible to still work on the project individually?

If there is no such system, then it would seem reasonable for me to express interest in the following topics (ordered in terms of preference):

  1. Handle-like robot

  2. Implementation of a high-performance QP solver for MPC applications

  3. Model predictive control for SK80 wheeled bipedal robot

  4. Advanced control design for Tokamak

Please contact me in case you would like to form a team to work on these.

Best Regards,

Vladyslav, we have not yet discussed the semestral projects (at least not during the lecture). We plan to do it in some two weeks. To address your questions:
1. There is no formal system for forming student teams. This discussion forum may serve as a tool. Or perhaps the initiative by Matouš can serve (not only) this purpose too.
2. Certainly even a single student can work on a project.
