Control design procedures based on minimizing the \(\mathcal{H}_\infty\) norm are discussed in Chapter 9 of [1]. Go through it. Have a look also at section 8.12, which discusses the \(\mu\) synthesis.

Recommended (not compulsory) further reading

Control design in frequency domain based on minimizing the \(\mathcal{H}_\infty\) norm is now already classical and is described in a number of resources. Besides the excellent Skogestad's text, however, most other texts deal with the mathematics behind the \(\mathcal{H}_\infty\) optimization, which is rather involved.
