Literature on hybrid (dynamical) systems is vast. This partly reflects the practical importance of the topic and partly it reveals that researchers approach (in fact, even define) hybrid systems in a huge variety of ways. And many are interesting and perhaps even useful. Since the aim of our course is to give an overview, we were unable to pick a single textbook or a research monograph to build our course on. Instead, we use various resources: books, online lecture notes, papers. We always link them in the corresponding block on this page.
Anyway, here comes a list of the key general references (mostly books) that we consulted while preparing this course.
